Den 23 december, dan före dopparedan, väntade vi på att mormor skulle anlända.

Så kom hon! Vi käkade pepparkakor med ädelost, och drack glögg.

Then she arrived! We ate gingerbreads with blue cheese, and drank mulled wine.
Mitt bidrag till årets julbord var grönkålssallad med apelsin och russin, inlagda gröna tomater, grönkålschips och vegetariska göttbullar.

My contribution to the christmas dinner this year was kale salad with oranges and raisins, pickled green tomatoes, kale crisps, and vegetarian meat balls.
Så det käkade jag. Med ägg, tunnbröd, potatis, och rödbetssallad. ÄLSKAR potatis och rödbetssallad, mina favisar på julbordet. Inte så svårt att vara vegetarian under jul för min del, helt enkelt.

So that's what I ate. Together with egg, flat bread, potatoes, and beetroot salad. LOVE potatoes and beetroot salad, they're my favorites at the christmas dinner. Not so for me being a vegetarian during Christmas, with other words.

Strax innan jag behövde cykla till jobbet delade vi ut julklappar. Jag fick finfina grejer som jag önskat mig. Visar en annan dag.

Just before I had to bicycle to my job, we opened some christmas gifts. I got nice things, which I had wished for. Will show you another day.
Spenderade kvällen med pensionärer och undersköterskor.

JULAFTON och vi åkte hem till min faster på eftermiddagen. Efter att ha käkat tomtegröt hos farmor och farfar, och julfikat hos min farbror alltså. Jag käkade mer rödbetssallad och potatis.

CHRISTMAS EVEand we went to my aunt's place in the afternoon. So, after we had ate rice pudding at my grandparent's place and fika at my oncle's place. I ate more beetroot salad and potatoes.
Efter maten spelade jag Mario-monopol med min yngsta kusin, syster, och mamma. Vi hann aldrig spela klart innan Karl-Bertil Jonssons julafton, men tror jag vann, heh. Sedan delade vi ut julklappar.

After dinner, I played Mario monopoly with my youngest cousin, sister, and mother. We didn't had time to finish the game before a TV-program at 7 o'clock, but I think I was the winner hehe. Then, we opened the rest of the christmas gifts.
Hade min prickiga jumpsuit. Både mamma och syster undrade om det var en pyjamas; den är skön som en i vart fall. Kom hem sent, full med julgodis och lite trött vad det ser ut från den här bilden. Hängde i soffan med mina syskon tills jag somnade.

Wore my dotted jumpsuit. Both my mother and sister asked if it was a pyjamas; well, it's soft as one anyway. Came home late, filled with christmas sweets and a little tired as it seems from this picture. Sat on the sofa with my siblings until I felt asleep.
